ABOUT THE CIRCUIT OF CEARÁ SUPPORTED BY INTERSANDS

The circuit of Ceará in Brazil, seeks to promote the practice and development of sandboarding in this region of northeastern Brazil to promote a sports culture in the sand dunes, in the same way, it seeks to promote the culture of winter sports such as snowboarding so that future generations know about these activities even though there is no snow in Brazil but similar activities are carried out in the snow.

Another of the main objectives is to encourage the activity of associations and/or the creation of new sports associations in each of the cities where these types of sporting events are held so that in the future they can work together for the formation of a sports federation.

The first stage of this Circuit has also integrated the celebration of the World Sand Day (Promoted by InterSands) and World Snow Day (Promoted by the FIS – International Ski Federation).
